I have been instrumental in developing successful beverage programs at golf courses, private clubs and restaurants; spearheading and hosting events; consulting with retailers and private collectors on purchasing needs; and providing valuation services for divorce attorneys, insurance carriers and other individuals and organizations.
A prolific critic, I have written more than 150 wine, beer and spirits articles, co-authored a celebrity cookbook and judged internationally. Most recently, I wrote the “Beverage Insider” column for Pro Shop Magazine — Canada’s leading on-premise golf club magazine.
In 2010, I became one of a few professional fine wine and spirits appraisers in North America, passing the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice exam; and had the privilege of developing a fine wine exam for the Appraisers Association of America (AAA).
